This is not about a hotel, but about a place, Mont St. Michel. To spend a night there is magical-the hotel was fine. Would have liked the option to have booked the room without breakfast. Breakfast was not worth the money-very expensive for very little.
The breakfast is overpiced for what is given.
It mas always claimbing the stairs difficult for the us. the location was very good, we like the place.
poor information about the place and working hours of the only 4 museums
The location is extraordinary, right in the middle of Mont-Saint-Michel. The room is comfortable with a good view. I would recommend it to anybody who would like to feel being in an hotel the way it was a hundred years ago.
Beautiful setting atop mt. St. Michel. We had the top room with views of the sea and causeway. Comfortable rooms. Very nice bath. Just be ready for alot of steps to your room!
Hotel staffs are not so kind and do not explain well.
Wonderful site - Mont St. Michel - and location of hotel is excellent w/ terrific views, and somewhat near the top of the Mont. It w/b extremely difficult for anyone however w/problems ascending to the rooms up very steep stone stairs. Room was well appointed w/both shower and tub.
The climb up very steep stone stairs to the rooms could be daunting and is a problem if you want to ascend/descend frequently. It is quite a bit above the main street w/restaurants, etc.
We booked a room with a town view, but we saw one wall and part of one roof. We were in the annex. Had we had a room on the front of the building, we would have had a town view.
Location location location. Rooms clean and warm, equipped enough for price. Good views from room and quiet. Wifi a little temperamental but enough to check maps and bookings for the next day
Not a negative, but 430pm checkins only. Also, if driving be sure to get directions prior to arrival about parking as it can be confusing
I feel like living in a middle age house with big stone walls. The view of my room (may not be other rooms of lower floors) is magnificent. It is just the second floor and it already overlooks the sand split but still so close to the small path via the window and I said a lot of hellos to other tourists passerby.
I have seen comments of the lady at the reception with long face. It seems that she is aware of this and improved a bit - not very long. However, the attitude of the staff serving the breakfast is awful. Do not book the breakfast !!!!!!! Just bring your own bread and juice. My breakfast served is no more that this.......
A great location. It was a great experience to stay on the island.
beautiful view clean room wonderful location
breakfast is expensive
-Excellent location inside of Mont Saint-Michel -Friendly hotel staff
-Room was definitely overpriced, but anyway it was the cheapest offer inside of Mont Saint-Michel -Late check-in time: 17:00
Do not stay on the island. Crazy price for room and the food is as bad as it gets.
We were actually on Mont-Ste-Michelle allowing for thorough touring of this magnificent site.
No elevator, no bellman, no help --we carried luggage up about 5 flights of stairs to a small bedroom. There was mold in the bathrom. No warnings about all of this...and we thought we were in good physical condition!!
The hotel staffs are very kind. especially, woman staff of the restaurant of Terrasses hotel is very kind.non
